This is an environment inspired by an old traditional south indian house with a small indoor courtyard in middle. Worked on this Environment from scratch to refresh myself in Unreal Engine and used Pathtracing renders this time.
Been seeing lots of courtyards which are arabic or moroccon or spanish style and decided to do somthing different and rare.
I have been to very few houses that had a courtyard in younger days and wanted to make something a little older . so found an image that i like which was overblown exposure and simple giving a nostalgic feel and sort of recreated with my own interpretation with items you would usually find in an indian house.
Everything was made from scratch using 3ds max, Marvelous designer, marmoset, substance painter for props and designer for ceiling tileable texture. Used most of the tileable textures from Megascans .
You can find the breakdown from Reference, Blockout , Props, Materials, UE Setup, Lighting, Renders below.
And I posted the ongoing progress shots with advice and fixes on my polycount.

On this project i enjoyed time experienting with different light setups to get a good day and night lighting for the environment. May not be the best but im learning and enjoying refreshing myself since it has been a while with UE.
